Funding Success for the Land of the Fanns

We’re pleased to announce that the Land of the Fanns Landscape Partnership has received £1.3 million in funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) under the Landscape Partnership programme.

The Land of the Fanns project will transform a rare but historically fragmented landscape on the borders of London and Essex, involving people in their local area, helping them to understand and restore their local heritage, to learn through new exhibitions, and gain new skills in natural, built and archaeological heritage.

Barker Langham contributed to the bid through the creation of an Audience Development Plan to understand the value of the landscape to local people, identifying and targeting key audiences, and through the development of opportunities to encourage participation. For more on the project, click here.
