New permanent exhibition opens at Msheireb Museums

The exhibition ‘A Journey to the Heart of Life’ officially opened to the public this month in Doha, Qatar. It is the newest addition of permanent exhibitions that opened in the historic Msheireb district, which is comprised of four historical buildings that are now restored as contemporary museums. Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, Chairperson of Msheireb Properties, officially opened the exhibition.

The newest exhibition is science themed, created in collaboration by Msheireb Museums and regional biomedical research institutions such as Qatar Genome Programme and Weill Cornell Medicine-Qatar. ‘A Journey to the Heart of Life’ explores how human migration and genetics play an important role in human diversity, also expressing how the nation of Qatar is formed of culturally and genetically diverse people.

Barker Langham provided research, script writing and interpretation planning services to Msheireb Museums and is delighted to see the exhibition open at Bin Jelmood House.
