An exciting new acquisition for the Royal Armouries Museum

The Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) and Royal Armouries International plc (RAI) have reached an agreement for the sale of RAI's shareholding to the DCMS, acquiring the corporate hospitality business branch for £11.2 million.

The agreement will benefit the Royal Armouries Museum by not only strengthening it commercially but also further positioning it as a leading world-class museum, attracting visitors from both the UK and abroad.

Barker Langham previously worked with the Royal Armouries Museum advising on the future business strategy for MICE, food and beverage as part of the assessment of the viability of the operation.
