Manchester Town Hall
Fulfilling its civic function for the future
Manchester Town Hall is a Grade I listed landmark of international significance that is highly regarded for its exceptional craftsmanship and architectural quality, and has been the civic, political and administrative centre of the city since 1885.
Working closely with the Council, Barker Langham was part of a review establishing what could be done to bring the building back into full use, considering the most effective use of the space.
We developed an Options and Feasibility Study which provides a vision for the future of the Town Hall, repositioning it as a vibrant new hub in the heart of Manchester.
