Museum of London
A New Home for the Museum of London
The Museum of London was established following WWII as an amalgamation of the Guildhall Museum and The London Museum and opened in its current formation in 1976. The Museum is growing in both ambition and audience reach and is looking for a new location that can accommodate the breadth of its expansion.
Working across all aspects of the Museum’s offer and exploring the potential West Smithfield area, we devised a comprehensive Economic and Financial Case that would ensure the Museum’s commercial viability and audience numbers at the new site.
The relocation of the Museum of London will signal a significant new phase in the life of this critical institution, engaging Londoners with their city and history and giving them the means to participate as citizens to a greater degree.
