Restoring Brighton's largest park
Stanmer Estate is the largest public park in Brighton and Hove, but the 18th century estate landscape was ‘at risk’, due to lack of recent site-wide investment.
Barker Langham project managed the development of a First Round application under the HLF’s Parks for People Programme, coordinating the project and design teams, and writing the final HLF application and supporting documents, including briefs for development work. In the subsequent phase of the project, we delivered Activity, Business and Interpretive Plans for the Second Round application.
The HLF bid was successful, with £3.75 million granted to deliver the project.
