Barker Langham Films for the Cultural Sector
7th June 2021
Earlier this year Barker Langham produced three films for the International Council of Museums UK’s (ICOM UK) Working Internationally Conference. These films explored some of the most significant global issues affecting museums and the cultural industry today: social justice, sustainability and the future of museums.
Presenting a series of interviews with museum professionals and cultural experts from around the world — including the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture (USA), National Museum of Qatar, Museum of Modern Art (USA) and Museum of London — the films aim to present new ideas to prompt reflection and encourage change.
These films, together with a series of complementary essays are now available to museums, arts organisations, cultural professionals, educational institutions and students, with the objective of continuing the discussion on these important topics.
The links to the films can be found alongside the essays in a specially produced booklet here
