INSIDE BURJ AL ARAB

Inside Burj Al Arab is a 90 minute experience that provides visitors the opportunity to glimpse ‘behind the scenes’ of the high end luxury hotel and iconic Dubai landmark. Barker Langham worked with partners Met Studio to curate, design and develop this new, unique visitor experience for Jumeirah Group’s Burj Al Arab hotel in Dubai.

Working with the exhibit designers, we created an experience that showcase the many unique and fascinating stories behind Burj Al Arab’s vision, design, creation and service. From a bespoke Burj Al Arab welcome at the ticketing stop, visitors get their first view of the awe-inspiring Burj Al Arab from a tour-guide led buggy journey right up to the front door where they are greeted in true Emirati style with coffee and rosewater. The experience journey continues through the hotel’s main lobby up to the 25th floor with a unique visit to the only Royal Suite in the hotel - stayed in by celebrities, royalty and world leaders over Burj Al Arab’s 20 year history. An Experience Suite is the crescendo of the journey where visitors can discover what went into building the Burj, experience the ultimate in service and take in the breathtaking views over the Dubai skyline.

Barker Langham also provided operational planning for the experience, with audience definition and segmentation, capacity management and ticketing considered and planned for, to ensure the experience is not only unique but also sustainable.
