The crumbling plantation home of Declaration of Independence signatory Francis Lightfoot Lee has huge potential to become a different type of historic house visitor experience, but needs urgent restoration.

We produced a vision for the future of the house and its 500-acre estate, as well as Business and Interpretive Plans that will help Menokin retain its sense of place but with a modern twist.

The Menokin Foundation are currently fundraising to realise the vision, using our plans as advocacy for the project.
