PRINCE EDWARD ISLAND – PROVINCIAL MUSEUMS STRATEGY
PRINCE EDWARD ISLAND – PROVINCIAL MUSEUMS STRATEGY
The Prince Edward Island Museums and Heritage Foundation (PEIMHF) is at an exciting turning point. Under new leadership and with the ambition of increasing its impact, the Foundation is exploring ways to create a more representative and accessible network model for the seven museums it operates across the province.
Working closely with the Foundation and its key stakeholders, Barker Langham carefully crafted a strategic plan that speaks to the opportunities, strategic priorities and the community feedback received during the course of extensive consultation.
Based on this analysis, we defined five strategic priorities, which informed three possible options for the future of the museum network. Each option was assessed with the Board and key staff using a holistic options scoring approach. The Foundation is now taking forward their preferred option to form the basis of their new strategy for the future.
